Your privacy

Jump the Waitlist is a shared local discovery app for Lee’s circle. We store your login email, sign-in session, location aliases, newsletter sign-ups, received emails and venue preferences on Lee’s Fasttrack server.

Other signed-in members can see extracted promotional listings. They cannot read your original emails, sign-in address, subscription confirmations or private sign-up table. Do not send personal or sensitive correspondence to a promotional inbox.

Newsletter text is sent to the configured AI provider to extract events and offers. Venue and area searches are sent to Google Maps Platform. Google photos load from Google servers when you view them. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

For promotion imports, you select the email copies to process. Jump uses the text of those selected copies to extract private draft results and suggest locations. Uploading or pasting does not grant mailbox access. Unpublished drafts expire after 24 hours or can be discarded sooner. Nothing from this flow enters the shared feed until you select result cards and confirm their locations. Published cards retain private source copies for your own reference.

We retain venue place IDs so listings can link to the same business. Live Google ratings and photos are fetched when you view cards and are not kept in our database or used to train recommendations. Recommendations use your explicit Show / Don’t show choices and aggregate choices across members. Other members do not see who made individual choices.

Your sign-in uses an essential session cookie. Venue preferences are stored with your account; your selected areas are stored with your account and in your browser. Contact Lee, the person who invited you, to request access to or removal of your app data. Newsletter providers manage their own subscriptions: pausing a sign-up in this app does not unsubscribe you from the provider.

Selection chat

When you ask Jump a question, we send that question, recent chat messages, selected locations, current result details and your saved business/newsletter names to our configured Azure AI service. We do not include login emails, location inbox addresses, original emails or other members’ saved places. Chat cannot book or sign up on your behalf. Chat messages are held in this browser page until you start a new chat, sign out or reload; Jump does not save the conversation in its database.

Business updates

When you choose a business in Find a place, Jump visits the website listed by Google for that business and signs up to its free newsletter using our registered location email address. Your personal login email is not sent. Where requested, signups use Jump’s shared service profile: Jump the Waitlist, 1 January 1979 and gender Other where supported. These are not taken from your personal profile. Jump accepts the newsletter’s terms and privacy consent as the subscriber. We record the signup page, consent wording and linked terms where available. Failed attempts are checked in the background; sites needing unavailable personal details or human verification may still need intervention. We retain the business, chosen area, signup status, error type and request timestamp with your account. A sent request does not necessarily mean the provider confirmed a subscription.

Promotion images

We retain promotional images from emails you submit, including linked images downloaded from the sender’s image host. Images associated with published result cards are visible to signed-in members. Unpublished import images remain private and are removed when the draft is discarded or expires. Stored copies are resized and have embedded metadata removed. Google Maps venue photos are handled separately.

Sharing a result

A result shared outside Jump has a link that anyone receiving it can open. It contains that result’s title, dates, venue, summary, offers and selected promotion images, plus its booking and public newsletter links when available. Original private emails and account details are not included. You can also share or save an image of the card.

Booking availability

When you check booking availability, Jump sends the selected venue, dates, times and party sizes to supported booking services. It does not send your login email, name or newsletter address. Results may be shared briefly between identical searches to reduce requests. Search jobs are private to your account and expire after 15 minutes. Jump reads offered times; it does not reserve seats or submit a booking.
